SynDX is a clean energy technology company developing advanced chemical looping platforms for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), low-carbon hydrogen, and CO₂ utilisation. Built on world-leading research at Newcastle University, our technologies combine chemical looping, syngas processing, and process intensification to deliver scalable solutions for industrial decarbonisation and the transition to Net Zero.
Founded by Professor Ian Metcalfe and Dr Yongliang (Harry) Yan in 2026, SynDX bridges cutting-edge scientific innovation with commercial deployment to accelerate the adoption of practical low-carbon energy technologies.
