SynDX is a clean-energy technology company developing advanced chemical-looping platforms for the production of synthetic fuels, chemicals and low-carbon hydrogen. Built on world-leading research at Newcastle University, our platform combines chemical looping, syngas production and process intensification to deliver scalable solutions for industrial decarbonisation and the transition to net zero.
Founded in 2026 by Professor Ian Metcalfe and Dr Yongliang (Harry) Yan, SynDX bridges scientific innovation and commercial deployment to accelerate the adoption of practical low-carbon technologies.
